Default Prednisone has kicked me into third gear!

Hey there everyone! I am on my 5th day out of 16day Prednisone treatment. The prednisone has really helped with the tightness/uncomfortableness in my back. So hopefully once I finish the steroids I won't have to be put on the anti-spasmatic.

I have had soooooooo much energy from the Prednisone and I am trying to slow myself down but I just can't!

I was able to do grocery shopping yesterday, clean my car, the house, do laundry, dishes, cleaned the bathroom etc. without having to take a nap or multiple breaks in between each chore, bad thing is I think I am using far too much energy.

I know I should probably be taking it easy for the next two weeks as my body is in 'damage mode' as I refer to it, but when I feel some energy in me that I haven't had since the last time I was on steroids I just can't stop. I have been able to accomplish so many things in this week, things that get put off everyday due to symptoms or fatigue.

So again, since I am so new to this, I am sure I am not the only MS patient that has been in this predicament before.. So what is it that you do to get yourself to slow down while your on the steroids?

I love this amount of energy but I am really afraid that I might have done more damage this week by doing so much.

Thanks for your input!
Be well!
