i forgot to take my Zoloft Sunday.

today i did even though i was kindof a mess coz i got sick last night - not sure if from the 2 beers and napping right before dinner or some kind of stomach bug. i am mostly better but am having ginseng tea tonight hoping to settle things completely. i am feeling uptight and irritable and out of sorts too, so i took 1.5mg of my long-acting anxiolytic. (.5 first, didn't notice it, so took additional 1mg)

Mari your suggestions are good. thank you for summing things up so neatly for me. my mind has been feeling scattered, so that was helpful.

Donna i am sorry you are having difficulties... what is it that the new dog helping you with? that is nice you have a pet to work with. i made friends with a dog the other day.

Bizi i too was a bit thrown by the 192... that is much higher than the average max heart rate for my age group... and although i was tired enough to back off to avoid a stitch, i didn't run to total exhaustion either... just started walking instead of running. but i was even more surprised at the 188 when i got home. because by then, i had been standing around talking etc - had completely recovered my breath by the time i was conversing, for about 10 mins. no stairs either - elevator.

my bp these days seems lower than it was the last period i checked. it is consistently around 120/75. my mom reminded me it was winter (not spring) the last time i checked it regularly, and that bp can go up a little in winter. so, a few days ago when it was 135/85 ish, i am inclined to think it was due to moving around and the 4 cups of caffeinated coffee i had that day ( usually, only 1 or 2 of my cups are caffeinated).

anyway. i will keep "gathering data" and will report back on the pulse stuff after i talk to pdoc. he may suspect the Zoloft, and may want me to come off it. if he thinks i should get tests right away, or just eventually, before i attempt to run again, pdoc will know how to go about that with the GP. (yes, i can be a real wuss sometimes! )

thank you everyone for your thoughts and feedback on this.
