Anxiety can also raise your heart rate. Tacchycardia is also associated with orthostatic hypotension...
It really could be that damned zoloft. If I missed a dose of zoloft in the past, or effexor now, the first thing I notice is a light-headed fluttering feeling.
My resting HR can go over 100, but my bp is almost always good 100-115(s)/60-70(d). I'm on a TON of meds. I had orthostatic hypotension when I was younger and kept passing out... had the full cardiac workup... and the cardiologist didn't want to put me on cardiac meds cuz of my age, and told me to push the fluids and put salt on everything. So far it's worked for me, but I wouldn't suggest anyone else diagnose themselves and try it.
It's important to measure your bp and pulse after a period of rest (after at least 10-15 min. without talking or running around).
My best advice is to just be vigilant.
Hope you feel better soon.
