Hi Tara ~ don't worry about getting it out. It's a snap. I had miine taken out, and there was nothing to it. I was just a little sore. And if yours isn't doing you much good anyway, it shouldn't make much difference. lol I'm sorry you're haviing to go thru all this. I hope they can get it taken care of soon, and get a new one in place quickly so you can get relief from your pain!
