If there has been a SUDDEN INCREASE in the amound of floaters in the eye, this could be an indication that something is wrong with the eye. You need to see your eye doctor. It could be SERIOUS. I used to be an optician, and worked with patients all the time. This is something you REALLY NEED to see about. I wouldn't ignore this.
If there's alot of them, and they appeared all of a sudden, that's a danger signal. Get to the eye doctor. God bless. Peace, Lee
