Robert,

I'm not sure if you are mainly looking for the caffeine boost or just missing the whole coffee "experience"? If it is a boost to get you going, I would try green tea. It does a lot for us or so it would seem if we look at mice with PD. Regardless, it is still really good for us. Now if they could just mix all the neuro goodies into coffee, I'd be sooo happy.

If you want a natural coffee alternative, chicory will almost fool you if you make it strong and hot enough.

I have read that coffee or any caffeine product does help some PWP- not me

As for the insomnia, if you are on agonist, it seems there is no avoiding it. I have had to resort to taking a sleeping pill. Grrr. Seems there is no end to the pill-popping.
