When I had the neuropsych exam, the neuropsychologist who did the test went over the results in great detail after the tests had been analyzed and gave me specific strategies for coping with some of my deficits. Then, she summarized it all in a letter and sent it over to the neuro for follow up with him.
I think this is pretty typical format because the neuropsych is the one who specializes in the cognitive stuff and interpreting the test is really their job.
