You mentioned diabetes.

I spoke to a researcher at WPC - who believes insulin may help to ward off dementia. G.S. Watson, that's Dr. Watson. He is interested in dementia and listened to me when I told him my aricept experience and the resulting acetylcholine curiosity. His poster was entitled:

"How Well Can Screening Instruments Discriminate Among PD Patients With Normal Cognition, Mild Impairments, and Dementia."

He listened and doesn't think the Alzheimers meds even work for AD. He and others are looking at norepinephrine. PwP might need more of it.

There were a few others about norepinephrine uptake and what it is important for. Researchers are looking at it as well as glutamate which produces GABA.
