i ignore people like that. i just don't accept that kind of thinking. i've been known to put a hand up and say, "stop!". i just don't get engaged in the conversation. luckily i have great family and friends and don't encounter that often.

if you don't feel like you got info you needed at your appt i'd call the office back and ask for what you need to know.

going to the dr's can be very stressful. you've learned a lot from this visit and will do better with the next one.
