The Michigan Parkinson Foundation is offering a seven-week class on living with Parkinson's disease, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Fridays beginning this week at Beaumont Hospital, 44201 Dequindre, Troy.

Dr. Shana Krstevska, a movement disorder specialist with Henry Ford Health System, will be the opening speaker. Other classes in the series will feature a neurologist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech and language pathologist, pharmacist, nurses, social workers, plus people living with Parkinson's and caregivers.

Class fee is $50 per family, $40 per person. Scholarships are available.
