I've been seeing a chiropractor for over a month now. My pain has not gone over a 3 in all that time. Keep in mind though that I have not been diagnosed with TN. My diagnosis was Atypical Facial Pain following a dental procedure. I do not have trigger points on my face as many of the rest of you do. My pain is in the upper jaw and was constant at a 7, 8, or 9 - 24/7 when it first began back in the beginning of August. I am taking Amitriptyline and Lorezapam. (Not similtaneously! - A at night, L during the day so that I can function and go to work.)

The first few visits when my neck was being manipulated, all I could think of was "I'm sure glad Doc knows what he's doing!" Such awful crunching! But during this last visit earlier this week, he did not have to adjust my neck. He did concentrate on pressure points elsewhere. I'll have to say that I feel considerably better, but then I don't think I'm riding in the same lifeboat that you all are.
