I have two children with vitamin D deficiencies. In the sun non-stop. They said it must be hereditary and we will never know why they cannot utilize natural vitamin D and will need to take Vit D all their life. They both failed to grow until their vitamin D levels have become more controlled. It is weird but they told me sometimes you just don't have an answer. I hate that answer.
