It will be interesting to see how your other cats behave in Sheba's absence. They may each blossom in their own way since sheba was 'alpha'. It should be interesting to see.
My husband and I are childless, so our cats have always been a focal point in our lives. Our youngest, Riva, an orphan that found her way to our home when she was just six weeks old, attached herself to me. She looks for me and wants me to pick her up and hold her like a baby. Though, she does not seem to like my husband so much. Odd, the cats usually like him the most.
I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope that each day feels better... Love the dickens out of the other cats, they are probably confused.
