I deserved to be nudged on that one! I shouldn't have made the sweeping generalization that everyone's okay with violence on television. Guess I just don't see it mentioned much, leading me to believe it doesn't raise eyebrows.... like boobies do. But perhaps it does and I just don't hear the outcry.
I think there wouldn't be a tee-hee factor if the adults took a more 'hey, it's just the fabulous human body' approach to body parts and nakedness. I think the tee-hee factor is more a reflection of the elders up-tight-ness than it is the kids. That said, I wish modesty would come back into style. Maybe it will once the kids realize they can't SHOCK THE GROWN UPS by showing a lot of flesh.
