I once went to a NAMI meeting and the whole meeting was about what happens if a person is on SSI and SSD and the parents want to leave them money when they pass on? What can they do?

Well, there was this lawyer who specialized in trust funds and such. He answered questions for two whole hours and gave out his card at the end of the meeting. All the parents made appointments with this guy.

They all wanted to leave their adult children their inheritences but they wanted to make sure the kids wouldn't lose anything because they were on social security.

You need to find a specific lawyer that specializes in inheritences and trust funds for people on social security.
