Pristiq is actually the active metabolite of Effexor... equally effective and longer half-life (dosing easier), lower side effects... your doc is trying to get you the "good stuff" but yes, insurance may have trouble with it. i hope your pdoc can help you fast, either by getting approval from insurance for you, or by scripting Effexor.

i'm sorry your appointments got messed up today. today was not a good day for me either. let's hope for an improvement tomorrow.
