Oh Cindi, I am so sorry to learn about your frustrations. They are certainly founded and I understand the frustration of not having insurance as I went through this for a period of time. have you tried a university or teaching hospital for an appointment? They may see you without insurance. You may wish to look into social services as they have resources that might be able to help you. It is worth a try even if you are working and think that you might make too much money. Sometimes one time help is available. I would urge you to start applying for SSDI right away if you haven't already. Once you are approved, you will be automatically enrolled in Medicare and most places accept that.
