Wow, jaycojade.
I am at a total loss for words.
I can't even begin to imagine.

I am so very sorry.
A loss is hard enough.. but when there were trained professionals there who did not do anything to help (and possibly even hurt/escalated the situation) is just a whole new level of grief.
I really don't know what to say other than I hope with you that justice will be served, whatever that ends up looking like.
Thank you for being brave enough to share your story, especially when it is all so fresh.
I am trying to find a quote for you, but I can't seem to remember the exact words used, so I am not finding it.. (anyone who knows what I am talking about, please help!)
There is a quote that I see so often when babies or young children pass away. Something about how it doesn't matter how short the life, every person makes a difference and leaves an imprint in the world. It sounds better when it is the exact quote.. but that is the basic idea.
And, I have no idea how old Troy is. But, I do know that he touched the world.. many people in it.. it is obvious by the way you talk about him. So even if his life was cut short, please know that he has made a difference and has touched many lives. And by sharing Troy's story (bit by bit, as much as you are comfortable sharing) is going to be used to touch even more people. You can share his legacy with the world. You and anyone else who knew him.
I sure do wish I could say something that would ease the pain, heal the hurts, and answer all the questions.
But for now I will just send lots of love and hugs.
