Hi. I am so sorry. I can relate in some ways. I do have insurance but none of my office visits are covered. So every apt with the pain doctor, neuro who ever I have to pay for. Some procedures are covered but with huge co pays. I wish I had answers for you. I also can relate as when I knock myself the pain goes sky high. I hope it settles down soon.
On a side note if you are able to pay out of pocket some doctors will work a better rate. When the doctors bill insurance companies they often don't get the full amount so when private pay they will sometimes work with you. I know it is expensive though. Also for some meds if you don't have insurance you can get it free through the company. Your doctor just fills out a form and they send the filled meds to your doc office and you pick it up there. Hang in there.
