Default Hi Erin

Sorry I haven't posted until now Hubs and I are just getting over the flu. We just have very chesty coughs now. You know the kind of cough where you feel you can' breath!

I was so sorry to learn of everything that you have gone through and I am hoping that you will turn the corner soon and feel more like your old self. Depression is a horrible illness that robs you of happiness and hope. Ive been there and I try very hard not to let myself go there again.

The first step with depression is recognising yourself that this is the issue. Sometimes it can take you until you start pulling out of it to realise that the reason you feel so utterly wretched is the depression.

Your a very strong person Erin and I have missed your posts on here. But understand completely when you say you couldn't be bothered to contact people or get onto the computer. Thats how I was over the summer. It was only a month or so ago that I realised I had been going through a bit of a rough patch. Understandable when you think about all the things people with chronic pain and or illness have to face. Let alone negative and uninformed medical staff adding to it.

I hope that you start turning the corner soon. Its very important to try and do something you like and enjoy everyday, no matter how limited you are physically. For me its watching comedy or chatting to friends, or hearing how my one year old nephew managed to escape out of the house by using the cat flap! LOL I'm still laughing about that one.

Love
Rach
