There is a Progresso soup now that is MSG free. I use these for making a quick meal. You can add veggies to them, or your own meat. They never upset me... even if they have a bit of potato in them.

You can get them at WalMart or Target for about $1.50 each.

I use them often, and esp on vacation where food keeping is challenging on the island.

Some of the new Campbell's Select are also good, and some MSG free, but they use cabbage juice in them, and I can't tolerate cabbage...

Read your labels... always.

When you have had PN attacks before, sugar rushes, from candy or ice cream (or other sinful treats) can set you off too.
This is a complex reflex of insulin spiking...which affects fatty acid balance..favoring the inflammatory cytokines PGE2s, over the stabilizing ones PGE1s. This chemistry is explained in Dr. Barry Sears' books. (Enter the Zone and others)
