We have the opposite problem. I have constipation. I am on Amitiza to regulate me and it seems to be working along with the Metformin. The past 2 weeks I have had a burning in my stomach and and empty feeling, even after I eat and nausea. I first thought I was coming down with something but I don't think it's that. I tried to find info on the RSD in the intestinal tract but couldn't.

I carry some of my meds everywhere I go. Those pillboxes sure don't hold all you need.

I use to love hot spicy foods but not anymore. I know they don't go with any kind of stomach problems. I'm on Nexium for GERD and PUD so when you are already on stomach meds, you know to watch what you eat. Some foods don't agree with us that should. I like tea, but tea makes me sick if I don't eat something before drinking it.

I am allergic to valium so I don't even try that. It's hard finding the right thing that helps when we are having stomach problems. I was just wondering how the RSD affects the stomach as far as symptoms.
