I haven't had good luck with band exercises, shoulder rotations or trigger point massage. Any movement seems to stir up my nervous system (at least that's how it feels). The only thing that helps is abdominal breathing. Even doing the Edgelow exercises was too much. But abdominal breathing helps me lower my pain, at least for the time that I'm doing it.
