Most MDs will not prescribe the conjugated estrogen (the stuff with progesterone) in it, unless you are severe in your suffering with menopausal symptoms. whether it be from surgery to remove your ovaries, or age related doesnt matter. The reason is a sizeable increase in Breast and ovarian cancers that were reported after even mild doses of such stuff was given to women to help their hot flashes. In years gone by estrogen and progesterone was thought to increase your heart function, bone density and so forth. They have found it to be a dangerous combo for many women.

it would be easier to go on estriol and you would be met with less resistance, but for most to use it as a prentative for MS sx, they would pass you onto the neuro teams. There is a study or clinical trial going on right now using copaxone AND estriol in higher doses. I didnt qualify because I had breast cancer in the past, but several states are running with it now. Perhaps your neuro can help you find a local one in your area.

Blessing on the pending birth of your child. What a blessing indeed.
