I am confused does your doctor want you to have the surgery? Have you went for another opinion? For myself if I ever was suggested surgery I would have a few opinions to make sure. Are you under the care of a pain doctor? If I had no alternative then to have the surgery I would have a pain control treatment set up in case for after. I wish I had more answers for you.
