I think the last "scary movie" I saw was "The Birds". I saw it with my friend Millie, and we went to her house afterward.

We were sitting on the couch all spooked and chattering, when her mother's parakeet came swooping into the room.

We both screamed, which scared each other, so we screamed again (louder), which scared her mother, who came running in to see what was wrong. By that time the parakeet was clinging to the curtain with his little heart beating a million miles a minute...holy moley.
