I don't know the cause of your chest pains of course. but can tell you that I used to have such chest pains in the early days of my illness, before I learned to pace myself properly. I would get them every time I pushed myself without understanding that I am doing so. I still get them occassionaly now, but they improve with the use of my respirator.

I now know that it was dangerous and a sign of signficant respiratory muscle weakness. I know another patient with MG and significant respiratory muscle involvement who gets them as well.

hope you feel better soon, and find the way to live with this illness, without giving up your plans and dreams (even if you need to modify them). it's not easy but is doable.
