Remember that the SSI program is a public assistance program and all the questions you were asked in this interview will be asked periodically for as long as you are on SSI. And that changes in your living situation, value and ownership of any asset and money received from any source can either reduce or stop SSI benefits. These changes must be reported every time there is a change and if you are on SSI the rest of your life, then that is how long you have to report.
