I used to have trouble sleeping. Ambien CR quite working and I would be awake all night till 6 am. My Dr. was doing a 200 person trial study on seroquel xr and added me to the study. I immediately started sleeping 10 hours a night and still do. It's been over a year. We cut the dosage in half to 150 mg. and I sleep just as well and 10 hours. So grateful. It doesn't work for everyone, but I'm grateful. I also take 120 mg of cymbalta at night. It is a anti-depressant, but also helps with sleep. I take 4 mg of lorazepam, which is anti-anxiety med and I believe it also relaxes me at night. Take Vicodin for pain 4 4/500 a day. I save one for at night. Hope this helps you. A warm bath with epson salts can help some people to relax in the evening and help with sleep.
