This is going to sound daft, but......the other day a local fisherman was sitting by the road with his leg covered in thin rounds of pineapple, and when he shifted some I saw it was really puffy. Next day he was right as rain, so maybe try the greengrocers rather than the pharmacy. Bromelain, pineapple essence, is a stalwart of natural medicine.......so perhaps worth a try?
