Even though type A is mostly a vegetarian diet, you still need protein. Everyone needs carbs, good fats, and protein. It varies by each person. I think certain types of fish are OK. Seeds and bean provide vegetable protein. Rice & beans combined provide a more complete protein.

If you feel better gluten free, then I would continue to eliminate gluten grains like wheat, and use other grains.

It's important to assess how you feel after a meal and take note of what bothers you, what gives more stamina, what makes you tired and adjust your diet accordingly. Sometimes it's the portion of protein, fat and carbs. You may have to play with it.

Chelation can be a hit or miss. Tread carefully there.
