A good rule of practice is to monitor the thymus if it's enlarged.
FYI: It does not necessarily have to have a tumor to be enlarged. In my case, it's the tissue of the thymus gland that is enlarge.
At one point, my doctor wanted to remove mine, but after I had another round of MRIs he changed his mind.
Go figure.
