Hi Southie ~ You mean they remove the benigns?? Are they afraid they will develop into cancerous tumors or something??? Good grief, if they have to do that every years, you won't have much left.

I didn't think they removed benign tissue. But what do I know?!! I had 3 teeny tiny specks that were going to turn into cancer - they called it Stage Zero cancer - so I had a lumpectomy and 6 weeks radiation. These were so small, you could put them on the head of a pin! Go figure.

I'm sorry you have to go thru all that. I guess they're being super careful, which is good. Best of luck and keep us updated. Hugs, Lee
