Hello Fuzzy and WELCOME to Neurotalk!!
I see you have found your way to our Hydrocephalus Forum.
As far as flying... I have a friend that has a shunt who flys but I imagine no two people with shunts are the same... I would suggest maybe contacting her doctor and asking if it is safe for her to fly and what precautions should be taken if any.
She's lucky to have you as a parent... wish my parents would take me to see the Cowboy's
