I still had my symptoms but they didn't bother me as much. Normally we are at 4500 ft (northern AZ) and last week at sea level..I am wondering if that would have anything to do with feeling so much better? Anyone else notice an improvement in symptoms if they go to sea level?
Hi EmptyNest,

Didn't MJF say he felt much better in high elevation when he went to the Himalayas - opposite of what you experienced? I live at 450' of elevation and live 2.5 hours away from the Atlantic - never noticed a difference although I found margaritas/toes in the sand helped the psychy. When I biked across Iowa this past July, we had one day of 3687 feet of climb - I KNOW I surely didn't feel as good as MJF did in the Himalayas - maybe I should have kept climbing.

Glad to hear you recovered in time to enjoy the trip.
