Did you ever think that you forget because you don't want to remember?? It makes sense. Our minds block out unpleasant things, and you don't like the fact that you have diabetes, that you have to check it from time to time.

I am like that to. If I didn't have that syringe on the table (been doing this for 7 years), I WOULD NEVER REMEMBER TO TAKE A SHOT.

Imagine that. A person would forget to take a shot of insulin if she didn't have that syringe in front of her staring her in the face every single day.

I lay out all my pills (supplements, not meds) every night. I have the morning ones and I have the evening ones.

And that darn syringe. I place it on the counter so now I know that before I go to bed I have take the shot.

Do you have one of those pill things, that you fill up with seven days worth of meds.

The night before, open up the next day's supply of pills, put them on your kitchen counter (where you have to see them), and PROBLEM SOLVED.

Try it.

Thanks much for your reply.

We diabetics have to stick together and help one another.

Happy Thanksgiving by the way.
