WE went out for dinner at a texas road house...Wonderful meal, steak and ribs...sweet potato and salad...yummy!
then came home and spoke with my girl friend who remeinded me that I can't start my diet tomorrow cause it is mardi gras!!!! DUH!!! 
So I start my diet on Wednesday like most other good folks here in the south ...and are catholic, I am not but you know what I mean.
Do other religions recognize lent?
I think the community is 80% catholic here.
Wednesday it is.

i usually go to nursing homes and get really upset about their care or lack there of......I should go and visit just to visit sometime...great idea!
How do you pick out the residents to go visit and bring dolls to?
