Yes, there are some studies suggesting acetyl carnitine during chemo, and after to help.

You'd have to ask your doctor about that.

Another thing very good for breast cancer patients is flax oil taken with cottage cheese (high in sulfur compounds).

I knew a woman from work who did very well with this, and didn't have much chemo side effects.
