You shouldn't have to wonder which medicine you should ask for... that's your Dr's job! Just let him know the level of pain you are in. Cry! You should not have to beg and it should be obvious to even the nurses that if your pain isn't under control you should be in hospital and monitored.

I too wonder about your breathing. Glad it's better now, but you have to watch out for plueracy, collapsed lung or pleural effusion. Damn, the pain is just awful with these. You need to be able to describe in detail what you are feeling and be able to point to where. Internal bleeding can hurt awful too.

I was on oxycontin, flexaril and valium when they sent me home. After 4 months we changed the oxycontin to percocet 5/325.

I'm so sorry you're hurting - too young for this level of suffering.
