Last April I had severe pain in my feet for several weeks. I thought it was plantar fasciitis. It felt like someone was stabbing me in the feet and tying the tendons and ligaments into cute, painful little bows. I think it was the start of some pretty impressive spasticity that I had in April and May. That spasticity went from my feet up to my ribs. My toes kept curling up and sometimes curling back. It really hurt. I used my mom's TENS unit on my ribcage when that got really bad. Nothing helped for my feet except massive amounts of baclofen, and even then it wasnt all that helpful (spasticity went away after I had IVSM, but I had tons of residual numbness and fatigue)
I had foot pain again a couple of weeks ago and now I've apparently got another flare with more spasticity (and serious balance issues). At least it's not as impressive or as painful as it was last spring. (I probably just jinxed myself and I'll be on the floor crying in a couple of days from spasticity pain) My neuro just ordered me some oral prednisone, so hopefully things wont be horrible during Xmas. The balance issues are more of a problem to me right now. Hope that goes away really really quickly.
