Hi i am new to the forum, been ill with Hydro since i was 15 due to a massive bleed on the brain, i have a malformation and still suffer from small bleeds. I am shunt dependable, and have had surgery 8 times, i am now 27 years old and proud of everything i have achieved despite having headaches most days, some nausea and depression and anxiety.
My surgeon recently suggested i have a third ventriculostomy next time my shunt blocks.....i just wondered what everyone thought? If anyone has had one.....thoughts on it, pain etc???
