Hi everyone
I spent Sunday evening through Tuesday at the Governor's Planning Councils Conference. I had a great booth and many visitors. They were so complimentary of all my Co-Workers. I got to share that with my co-workers
yesterday in a email. I Then had a yearly review on Wednesday afternoon.
I really was worried about my review. But I had a great one. It was so neat.
My supervisor bought my lunch. Then we had the meeting at Pantera's.
We then went over her review of my abilities. I got lots of 3's and 4's.
Which a 5 is the best. And last year she told me that a 5 was doing
things perfectly. And they wouldn't usually be given out.
I received most Organization scores at a 2. Which is something that we
then have to write up a plan to improve. This was a area last year too.
The other area that I received 2's on was for my writing and wording.
I have really worked on emails and letters this year. But I still have a
long way to go.
Then I was given special recognition for my working to place a 14 year
old autistic child. Above and beyond my duties. This felt so nice.
Because I really worked for this child just like all my others. But I wasn't
sure this one would get good results.
I also got good jobs, from her for the work to get a reduced rate to exhibit at a fair this year. We are working to raise money right now. And couldn't afford to pay the fee asked. So I requested some help.
I was recognized for my work at exhibiting and making our services more known. I have waited a long time for someone to recognize the importance.
And the thing I really enjoyed. Was instead of just telling me to improve
my organization. One of the ladies in the office, at my supervisors request
made me a very nice folder for my monthly records. Just about anything
I need to find.
I was so impressed with all this for me. I really felt wanted.
