Each state has their own plans. You should have received by now your
Medicare & You 2011 booklet which list the plans available in your state/county.
Open enrollment ends 12/31 so you really do not have much time left. Check with CVS, Walgreens, AARP, etc. for free workshops. They will help you pick out the ins plans that best fits you & fill out the paperwork for you. All you have to do is sit back & let them do all the work for you.
Check w/your local social service department to see if your state/county has
FREE health plans that will pay the premiums as well as pick up the slack that the Medicare drug plans does not pay.
You can call Medicare:
1-800-633-4227 and/or visit their website & check out to see exactly what your state is offering.
