Hi ~ I'm glad your neck is feeling better, but I'm sorry everything else hurts. I can relate to that!
i'm a lumbar person, although I do have a cervical herniation. From what I've been told, I doubt seriously that you'll be able to lift weights again, but don't quote me. Lifting weights even affects the neck!

You'll have to ask your doctor about the limitations you're going to have. I know for me, I'm not supposed to lift anything over five pounds. My back is a total wreck.
If you're going to go back to lifting weights, I'd sure be careful and i wouldn't lift any heavy weights. You surely don't want to go thru this again.
