Sandy,
I just watched this, your wonderful daughter, Lindsay!
I'm almost in tears!
She has such a mature grasp of this!
We need to spread the word, she's right!
WE need T-Shirts that say 'RSD-Don't Touch, Ask Me'.
Or like that......
We need to buy brochures from the RSDSA.org, and hand them out!
Leave them on counters, where we shop.
Whatever small thing we can do, we need a groundswell, or volunteers, (US), to get the word out.
And, we need to carry these brochures with us!
Sound like a PIA? Maybe, a little.
I can say this, Since I worked with the public, for most of my life, I've encountered I'd say at least 25 people, who I could tell by their faces, were in such pain, and they described, (because I showed an interest!) they described RSD!
I gave them Dr Knobler and Dr Schartzman's name and numbers.
Most of all, I told them, that they weren't nutz! They had a REAL disorder!
Get help!
And, they did.
I'm happy to say, that most of them got back to me, and thanked me.
Again, Sandy, be proud of your daughter, she's wonderful!
And, send her my kind thoughts!
Pete
