*IF* you can get in the position, lay your back on it (with your neck leaning on the back of the ball, your arms spread wide/spread eagle, and your knees bent to hold you still on it) and just hang there.....it helps to decompress your spine and really open up the thoracic outlet area.

I used to do an exercise where I started from that position and walked my feet back as I sat up to strengthen my core, but my occipital neuralgia has been acting up and the neck strain from that wasn't helping.....
