I've got 2 lower teeth on my Tn side that has decayed pretty bad needless to say I have been in excruciating pain. I'm getting them pulled but am a little aprehensive about the pain afterwards. I have had teeth pulled on the other side with no problems but with the nerve being so hypersensitive on this side it's scary. My surgeon will put me under but he will give me locals while I'm out to help keep me numb afterwards. Can the injections cause further damage to my nerve? I also have very difficult teeth to pull, can that cause damage? I know I should know all this but it's been awhile since I've read up on it. One more thing.. Can the decay damage the nerve more? I can't get in til Feb. and they have been decaying for a year, I had to wait for the new year for my dental insurance to roll over.
