Thanks for the responses. Yesterday I did set up Part D for Suzy through AARP. Other complications revolve around the fact that her Medicare is retroactive back to June 2009. She has been told she will be penalized because she did not sign up for D or B, I forget, until now even though she could not use medicare back in 2009 because she was not approved until last Nov. 2. Now I'm confused.
