Part D came in when Bush was in office and I signed up for it then due to the help of my Pharmacist. Part a is Hospital and part B is medical and part D is for the Medication. I was signed up on both A and B a year after Bill passed but I didn't have to do anything to do it. They just switched me over to his SS.

I think too that the booklets don't go out on SS until Jan to let people know some of this info. I got a letter awhile back saying I have a deadline to switch medication companies but I don't want to.

It's something that is very hard to keep up with on your own. I would say find a local SS office and find someone in it to go in and talk to personally so you can get the facts you need to know. We just don't think of reading up on this stuff the computer about the SS.
