People will tell you ... oh, its only an ocular migraine.

But I have had 2 ocular migraine events in my left eye... and even when I had an angiogram...it was..."oh, it is only...."

Then I had a STROKE in that eye a few years later. What this means is that if you have these events only in one eye...it might be a sign of the vasculature in that eye is stressed. Stress enough (from high blood pressure or high homocysteine levels) and you can get a clot there which will hemorrhage into the retina. I lost about 60% of my vision with that stroke, but it did heal up over 6mos and now I only have a pulse in it occasionally.

So many complicated things can happen in your eye. Sometimes it is the brain sending the signals, and if that is the case you would see it in both eyes.

This is not to alarm you but do consider things that happen in the eye as important signs. The next sign may be worse.
